
Established in 1918, Ridgewood is a historic residential neighborhood renowned for its architect-designed Revival-style homes, including Tudor, Colonial, and French-Norman styles. The neighborhood features original brick streets and vintage street lighting, preserving its early 20th-century charm. Notable architects such as Charles Firestone, Herman Albrecht, and Louis Hoicowitz contributed to the district’s distinctive character. Due to its architectural significance, Ridgewood was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on December 19, 1982.
